Crown & Collar Institute recognizes that meaningful standards begin with breeders and programs willing to document their work, review their practices, and grow toward higher levels of transparency, health, genetics, development, temperament, preservation, and stewardship.
This directory may include founding members, participating breeders, programs preparing documentation, breeders currently in review, and breeders or programs that have earned official Crown & Collar Institute recognition.
Directory listing does not automatically mean a breeder, dog, litter, pairing, kennel, or program has earned an award. Recognition status must be reviewed separately and displayed according to Crown & Collar Institute records.

Registry Documentation
Crown & Collar Institute™ is not a replacement for breed registries, canine registries, registration papers, pedigrees, or registry requirements. Crown & Collar Institute™ is an independent recognition, education, documentation, and awards pathway designed to recognize excellence beyond basic registration.
Crown & Collar Institute™ may work alongside many canine registries and registry systems. A breeder, dog, program, or kennel may hold registration through an outside registry while pursuing Crown & Collar Institute™ recognition for health documentation, ethical breeding practices, puppy development, education, mentorship, stewardship, philanthropy, and accountability.
IOEBA may be one registry connection or documentation pathway where appropriate, but Crown & Collar Institute™ is not limited to IOEBA and does not replace outside registry requirements. Breeders may provide other registry, pedigree, kennel, litter, or ownership documentation as supporting records during review.
Submitting documentation from another registry does not automatically make that registry part of Crown & Collar Institute™ pathways and does not guarantee recognition, title display, award approval, or registry compatibility.
What Directory Listing Means
A Crown & Collar Institute directory listing may show that a breeder or program is participating in the Institute’s guideline pathway, founding membership period, documentation process, or recognition system.
Directory listing alone does not guarantee health, temperament, breeding quality, puppy outcome, working-canine outcome, service-dog suitability, therapy-dog suitability, facility-dog suitability, registry acceptance, or award status.
What Awarded Recognition Means
If a breeder, kennel, dog, litter, pairing, or program has earned Crown & Collar Institute recognition, the specific award, level, title code, and record type should be displayed clearly.
Approved recognition may appear in Crown & Collar Institute records, including kennel profiles, breeder records, dog records, litter records, pairing records, pedigree records, program profiles, and award summaries.
Good Standing
Public directory listing may require continued accuracy, transparency, and good standing with Crown & Collar Institute.
Crown & Collar Institute may update, correct, suspend, or remove directory listings if information is inaccurate, outdated, misleading, incomplete, falsified, or inconsistent with Crown & Collar Institute standards.
Request Directory Listing
Breeders and programs participating in the Crown & Collar Institute launch pathway may request public directory listing. Listing may be reviewed before publication and may require current contact information, breed focus, registry focus, program description, and accurate recognition status.
Crown & Collar Institute directory listings, founding member status, awards, titles, badges, pedigree notations, and recognition designations are issued and displayed through Crown & Collar Institute systems. Directory listing does not replace veterinary care, legal registration, breed-club registration, government approval, AKC registration, IOEBA registration, third-party registry requirements, health guarantees, legal service-dog status, public-access rights, or professional training evaluation.
